If arriving by air to Florence International Airport
(Amerigo Vespucci), regular shuttle buses to Santa
Maria Novella Train Station run throughout the day,
dropping passengers off on Via Santa Caterina da Siena
nearby (see the map above).
Walk west to the end of Via Santa Caterina di Siena and turn
right onto Via della Scala then immediate
left onto Via dell’Albero. This becomes
Via Maso Finiguerra after a few minutes and
the Hotel Palazzo Ognissanti Florence is number 12R
on the left hand side.
A taxi from the airport should cost no more than €15
though it is advisable to establish the price before departing.
Arriving by road - in a few words :
Take the exit for Florence-Signa from the
A1 and follow signs for Firenze-Centro. Via
Pisana brings you as far as Porta San Frediano.
Take a left here and cross the River Arno by the Amerigo
Vespucci Bridge (Italian for ‘Bridge’
is ‘Ponte’). The bridge takes you onto Via
Melegnano which then immediately becomes Via
Maso Finiguerra. The Hotel Ognissanti Palace is on
the right, number 12R.
